Welcome to the opening of our urological forum.

Urology today sets us new challenges: the rise of urological cancers and urinary stone disease, and the questions of men’s health and active longevity. These cannot be answered alone. Only together, by sharing experience, can we offer the patient the very best.

May this forum become a place where new ideas, new protocols and new friendships are born.

Dear colleagues, dear guests and participants of the forum,

Gathered here today are the leading urologists, andrologists and uro-oncologists who deal every day with the most delicate and vital tasks of preserving our patients’ health.

Urology today is one of the most rapidly developing fields of medicine. Robotic surgery, endoscopy, laser technologies, reconstructive urology, men’s health: what seemed like the future only ten years ago is already our everyday practice. And our main task is not merely to keep pace with the times, but to share that experience with one another.

This forum is not only about presentations and scientific discussion. It is above all a place for live exchange, for honest conversation about difficult clinical cases, and for new joint projects to take shape.

I am confident that these two days will be as rich, useful and productive as they can be.
